The flight back home

08/08/2017
Greetings people, I'm back and yes another blog and yes my Holiday is over, it ended since last Friday and now, I'm back at school and so, I had a great time over at Europe and also it may have been the longest holiday but it rivals the holiday at the south east of Australia which dates back to 2009 but that is not important although that one was about 7 weeks long which makes it the longest but it is the longest Australian holiday yet as this European holiday that just ended, was about 5 weeks long which makes it the longest over sea holiday yet but the next over sea's holiday which is in the United States of America is yet to come but it's now less than 2 years away from now. So now I shall talk about the last days of my journey which is the flight back to Perth.
On Thursday of last week (03/08/2017) After breakfast, Mum, Dad and I separated from Emma as she decided to do something else since we've packed our suit cases. Mum, Dad and I were heading to the Berlin Natural History Museum. This museum wasn't too far from where the hotel was, it was more than 5 buildings across the path after taking the right hand road of the cross walk. The museum was big and I think it's probably the same size or larger/smaller than the Natural history museum in London. We took a few hours and remembered that we had to be back to the hotel some where around 2 or 2:30 PM no later. There was lots to see, even the collection of jars filled with fish, rays, small sharks and even Eels. Also we even saw a nearly complete T-rex skeleton named Tristan Otto on display. (Farther notice, if you ever want to see Tristan Otto in the Natural History Museum of Berlin, the best time will be before the fall of 2018 or a time before that.

15/08/2017
Sorry for the delay, let's continue.
The reason why before the end of 2018 or before that is because Tristan Otto will be moved back to a laboratory for farther examinations, so for now it's your chance to see him. As we walked around the museum, as I spoke about those jars earlier, one of them, well I didn't take a photo of it, had what looks like a "Cookie Cutter Shark", one of the smallest shark species in the world, we even saw displays of different creatures and mammals that are still existing today. Even how they were made. After having lunch and exited the museum, we returned to the Hotel where Emma was waiting and after doing what we needed to do after being at the hotel for the final time, we started heading to the airport. Things didn't look good at the airport, there was a lot of people in the queue for loading their luggage on the plane and there was a few gates at the terminal and we took a bus down to the plane and we were off to Doha. In the plane we were flying in, I had a bit of a issue, the chair in front of me was broken so it was leaning back too far so when we get to Doha, it needs to be fixed, however, I can still use the screen on the back of it and I was watching the 2017  movie of "The Power Rangers", and it was so good when I first watched it.

The next day in the morning but still in the night sky, we landed at Doha, switched planes straight away and took off. This flight was the longest one for the trip home since the flight from Perth to Doha. I was watching the movie "Kong Skull Island" a movie that was made from the basics of the original movie "King Kong". Had a few pauses even during the flight from Berlin to Doha while watching "The Power Rangers" and after watching "Kong Skull Island", we were just near half way to Perth so I had a few short sleeps and a few times playing on my new Tablet, we then arrived at Perth International Airport and took a Taxi home. It took less than an hour to get back home and as we arrived, Emma and I sneaked into the house and as we entered the Family room, there was one of our Grandmothers and our little dog Ellie who was racing to us both until the whole family was in the house. Dad's Parents came into our house for a little visit and both Grand parents left and the holiday was over. Good bye

Friday 4 August 2017

A holiday coming to an end.

(02/08/2017)
Greetings people I'm back with another blog post, unfortunately the previous blog post "Extra the" was put to a bit of a holt, mainly to finish off this holiday, plus I'm getting to the point that I'm feeling tired and ready to go home back in Australia. More information is This day is Wednesday, the second of August plus the fifth Wednesday of the week of the holiday and is the final day of the holiday and by tomorrow for the whole day, there will be no blog posts at all until this upcoming Friday night when I return home back in Coogee and yes this is my final day in Berlin as tomorrow we fly out at 5 PM no earlier than that which was quite disappointing to me because this whole trip back home takes about an entire day and I will be arriving in Perth international airport at around 6/6:30 PM and there is nothing I can do to fix that although I wanted to have more of Friday before 6 PM, well unfortunately once it happens, no coming back from that. Enough of that information, let's get to the blog post.

So Yesterday as we prepared after breakfast, we went to the spy museum for the second time and first time for Mum and Dad. We all had a look around, reading about some equipment of spying even stuff that were used on killing some people that were targeted for assassinations even to intercept communications from locations that are top secrete but are used for the Military, Air-force or Navy. We walked around the museum and I even played that laser game where you have to avoid a laser security system when you're trying to disarm a three stage Nuclear missile, more information will be in the Extra features blog post. After coming back to the hotel from the museum, we came back to the hotel to have a break for a few hours, then we went out again but this time, to the Capital Parliament building of Berlin which had a class dome on top of it. We had a tour around the the inside of the glass dome on a spiral catwalk going to the top of the dome where there is a hole at the top of the center of the dome. After coming out of the Dome, we came out of the building and went to the next Parliament building to watch the light show which shows the history of Berlin itself and after watching it, Mum, Emma and I except for Dad went back to the hotel, Dad stayed behind to watch the show again because Mum kept on interrupting what Dad wanted to hear as she was saying to me and Emma the English subtitles of what the narrators of the show are saying while speaking in German.

(05/08/2017)
I'll continue with the blog before I can explain what's happened now.

The next day was Wednesday, After having some breakfast and prepared for our next part of the holiday, Emma and I went to the Berlin Zoo which we stayed there for about a few hours. After leaving the underground train station, there was a big queue that was holding us both up but as I used the stop watch mode of my watch, it took about twenty three minutes to get inside that gate but I did stop the stop watch about four minutes too late when I got distracted as we entered the Zoo. We looked at a lot of animals, I may not talk about all the animals I saw at the Zoo or this blog post will be too long. After being at the zoo, Emma and I returned to the hotel for a break until Mum and Dad came back to take us all to the Berlin TV communication tower. The tower was known to be the tallest tower in Europe and Built in 1969. As we were up there, we looked around the entire city from the viewing room inside the sphere of the com-tower and saw a lot of amazing views including the view of the Capital Parliament building. After coming back down to ground level, The thing I had for dinner was the exact same thing I had back in the first night in London of our holiday all the way to the last night in Berlin of the Final day of our holiday. That is Pizza.

And now to finish off this Blog post, I'll now explain a little bit of what happened now. I'm now back at home in Perth of Australia but today was the day after the night the family arrived at Perth International airport and returned home. I will explain more in the next blog post  which is the flight home. And in time, the Homemade rockets blog will continue and before I finish, the next holiday will be in the United States of America. Until next time, good bye.

The day I've been waiting for in Germany

Greetings people I'm back with another blog post and yes it's night time in Germany plus I'm now at a town more than 5 kilometres away from Peenemunde but I can't start now but I will tomorrow so, hold blog post production.

(30/07/2017) Okay, I'm back again, as I was going to say last night but I ran out of time is that Yesterday was the day I've been waiting for and I'll explain that in the blog post, so now, I can continue with the blog post.

The start of the day, we packed our bags and set off early to the Zagreb international airport and we flew to Germany, the flight took more than an hour to get to Germany. We landed at the airport of the capital of Germany known as Berlin and this airport is the airport we'll be using for the flight back to Perth. We took a taxi to our hotel although, it was so cold at that time but we did have a walk through the city and having some lunch, then continuing the walk. The rest isn't important.

The next day we went for a bus tour around Berlin, looking at all the buildings, even the big television communication Tower and we went through the whole tour and had lunch, had a rest and went to LEGO land but it was only for young children which was so disappointed as it was only for young people. After having donuts for afternoon tea, we went to the LEGO store at the end of the LEGO land but we didn't get anything so then we went to the spy museum, looking at all the stuff of spying even things that people use when trying to get secret stuff from the enemy but the rest of the day was normal.

(31/07/2017) sorry, I'm back now and in Berlin again and for the final time for the holiday because in a few days, we'll be off heading back to Perth. So let's continue.

The next day we got up and had breakfast and went off to get a car and set off to the town I've spoke of earlier. As we arrived, it was like an old hotel, with old doors. No offence to the people who work there but yes and it has a pool. We did have some lunch and dinner, before the time of having dinner, Mum and Dad went off to Peenemunde but their ride was cut short because of a car accident, so they had to go back and try again and having me with them on the next day.

The next day was the day I've been waiting for. After having breakfast, Mum, Dad and I got ready and went out to Peenemunde, the first facility where the V2 missile/rocket was first built and launch tested during the Second World War until operation Hydra (Not sure if it's spelt correctly) which was the code name of the British bombing attack at night. We've spent hours there and taken some photos, even from my new tablet.

We've also listened to the audio devices for the tour. The bottom photo is the rebuilt power station since the bombing of Peenemunde and all the rest were destroyed. And we even watched the old footage of the launch of the V2 which is the rocket same as the mock up in the middle photo and also learnt about the power station it self. We went home after and the rest is not as important.

The next day which is Yesterday, was the final day in that town untill returning to Berlin. The whole family returned to Peenemunde and when into the 2 ships for he German Navi of the Cold war although, Germany might have not been in the Cold war but the ships were there. A submarine and a light ship. After coming back to the hotel, we went for a bike ride and everything went well untill Mum got hurt on her left knee as she fell off by accident. Dad and I went on for another 5 minutes untill returning back and the day ended with a nice dinner as I had the other 2 days with a nice juicy steak with potatoes and beans.

Today is the end of July and after having breakfast, we went off for Berlin again. We had some delays because of road works and some stops for 'you know what'. After arriving our problems have just begun as Dad was arguing to the men working at a car ownership for scratches on the car that we didn't notice or not actually there. The problem had to be dealt with later because first we had to get to the hotel we stayed in before 3 days ago and after arriving, having a rest. The rest of the day, we went down to the underground train station to get to the restaurant we've been to before the day we left Berlin and after dinner, Emma and I went for some ice-cream when but before that, the waiter asked Dad to write a tip on the recites but Dad was so confused so the waiter rushed off in anger. As Emma and I took the train back, Emma was not feeling well as she just got sick again but now we're about to prepare for the night and now I have just caught up with the time.

Just before I go, just for a reminder, I will make another blog post tomorrow but that post will be on extra features, mostly about Emma's French family and the family of Dad's cousins. And the day after tomorrow, I will make another blog named "A holiday coming to an end". So I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and the rest of the blog so good bye.

My final day in Croatia

Greetings people, I'm back again with another blog post and I'm living in the final place of Croatia that we're staying at. This place is called Zagreb and today is our final full day in Croatia because tomorrow, we're off to Berlin which is the capital of Germany. Plus this week is the fourth week of the holiday and when it gets to this Thursday, there will be 1 week left because next Thursday is when our holiday comes to an end and we'll be off flying back to Australia, well back to the journey.

For the next day after the last day in Dubrovnik, new set off and took a slow ride on a ferry to the Island of Korcula, a trip that took more than an hour to get there and during the trip, I was so tired and hungry and after eating, we took a bus to one place where we were meeting Dad's cousins but, they were there before us so they took us to where our apartment is, on top of the home of one of Dads cousins and later in the afternoon, we went for a swim and ended with some chips and spaghetti and bread for dinner and we retired for the night.

I'm going to skip a few days because those days aren't going to be interesting to you people because it's mostly of resting and swimming. So back to the blog post.

The next day we went to the harbour in the car ofone of Dad's cousins and we took our ferry but we waited for a while and for that I did get fried a bit (getting sun burned) and after the ferry trip we got to our apartment with the help of Antonia and we did walk around the city for a little bit for finding a restaurant and found a Pizzeria restaurant and we had some Pizza and the day ends back at the apartment.

The next day was just half a day in Split, we've wondered around the city looking for anything that might be interesting to see, we even walked into a palace built back in the time of the Roman Empire, looking through every place we look at. We even got a shirt of Split, well of Croatia. However, Mum slipped on a weathered piece of a stone brick and it wasn't just her, another woman slipped as well and I thought that this brick needs some work. After being in that Palace, we then had lunch as I had a cheese and ham sandwich that was toasted and then had an ice-cream. Heading back to the hotel, having a bit of a break and then taking a Taxi to the airport. Lucky for me I had my first time flying on a turboprop passenger plane and after arriving at the airport and our hotel in Zagreb, we had some burgers for dinner and then returning to the hotel for the night.

Yesterday after having breakfast, we then went to a square Park to catch a tour bus to Rastoke and Plitvice lake. There was lots to see, rivers, forests and waterfalls. The drive there took a few hours to get there but we also had some stops along the way for collecting some lunch and stuff. After the walk at that park, it took a few hours to return to Zagreb even some stops for afternoon tea and picking up some people who are going to the airport tomorrow. After we got back we had dinner at the apartment and retired for the night.

Today is Tuesday, we had breakfast and went off to explore the old city of Zagreb, we explored a huge church, walked around some buildings, even walking for 5 minutes into a War Museum and been on a hill rail cart. We took a break back at the hotel, then walking through the actual city looking through a book shop and other places, then switched our attention to dinner, I had a grilled steak with French fries, same to Emma. After dinner Emma and I got ice-cream at an ice-cream cafe but when we got our ice-cream, it was raining and I was like when it was not not too heavy, "This has to be our chance to get back to the apartment" but Emma disagrees so after we've eaten, we made a dash back to the hotel and I showered and that ends up with what I'm up to now.

So I'm finishing up because tomorrow we're off to the airport starting at 5 AM and I need alot of sleep, plus it's getting very late and I'll continue on when I'm in Germany, I'll see you all later and Good night.

A new country I'm visiting for this year

(19/07/2017)
Greetings people I'm back, with another blog post once again and yes I'm  in another country but a new country that I have never been to before and now I am. I am in Croatia and it the second place of Croatia that I'm visiting. That is the island of korcula. This name is not speller correctly because the letter 'c' is supposed to have a small 'v' shape above it to make it sound like the letter 't'.

Well back to the blog. On the day we were leaving France, in the morning most of the French family was staying at Marianne's Parents house for a very short period of time because their holiday were just beginning. Angele, was so tired and had to go to school for a school holiday planning, after she left, Lue and Antoine who is Luke's brother left as well because they were off on their holiday and Marianne went to a funeral. As we had breakfast and lunch, we set off the city called Nice where the international airport was. While we were on our way we stopped and looked around a Monestary called Le Thoronet Abbey. We took an hour or two at the Monestary and continued to the airport. We ran into frustrations on the way but when we were in the airport, our plane was so late like a few hours late and we set off to Dubrovnik And when we arrived we had a long drive on a taxi to the Ol town and when we got to our apartment, we got to bed as I was so tired it was around 1 or 1:30 AM.

The next day, we were out walking through the huge town in a large fortress. As we walked to a harbour of boats, we separated as I was with Emma, we were walking around the town, looking for things that might be interesting to me or Emma or us both but we didn't find anything much to find but we did get some lunch. Emma and I had spiral pastry while Emma's had chocolate in it and mine had cheese in it. However, the centre of Emma's Pastry fell and she chucked it to the lower stairs. For that she attracted the wrong attention, lots of Pigeons and some strange looking birds that are similar to the Pigeons flew down and scavenged on the Pastry untill there was nothing left. So after having our spiral pastry, we went to have some ice cream. It was delicious, then we both got back to the apartment, before we both had lunch, we  tried to go for a walk on top of the wall of the fortress but as Emma said to the staff member 2 adults, we didn't have enough money so we moved on. As Mum and Dad came back to the apartment, we had a rest for a while untill walking to dinner and returning to the apartment for the night.

(23/07/2017)
Before I continue, I'm in Split now on the main land of Croatia, later today, I'm off to Zagreb which will be the last place of Croatia we'll be staying at but then, we're off to Germany which is the last country in Europe of our holiday. So let's continue.

The next day we had breakfast, we got dressed and went out to have a walk around the old town. But the most important part of that day is we went walking over the top of the brick wall of the large fortress and we've been in one big tower like those of a castle, the walk around the wall but on top of it took a few hours in the afternoon but then for dinner, I ate my favourite food, Pizza. And when the day came to an end, that day was the final day in Dubrovnik.

The final day in France

(16/07/2017)
Greetings people, I'm back with another blog post at another location in France where Emma's French Grand Parents live plus today is however the last day in France because tomorrow, we are leaving in the afternoon after lunch, will be heading to Nice airport flying to Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Well, I'll begin with the second last day in Lyon. That day was Bastille Day. For a start, we went to a museum of movie making history. At that place we saw lots of characters on display also character items such as equipment, tools and weapons some bits came to be gross and one gave me a jump scare which was from the movie Alien and that is the Xenomorph Queen but the most interesting is seeing the videos of the behind the scenes of movies like, Night at the Museum 2 also Batman the dark night.
At evening was the Bastille Day Parade where lots of trucks, cars and troops of the Military, just troops for both Airforce and Navy. Cars and bikes of the Police, and men, fire tenders, vans and fire trucks of the fire brigade. All moving through the road and then disappearing out of site.  I took some videos of the parade but I can't show it because it's just too long about 10 minutes. Another thing is at the park we even walked through the Lyon's small zoo.

On the next day which was the final day in Lyon, after having breakfast, we set off on a tram to a museum mostly of natural history and others but we didn't see everything because of Emma but it wasn't her fault, it was because that she was so sick and she was having pain all around her body so the full amount of time in the museum was cut short and we had to get back to the hotel. Next after having hours of rest, we went out again but before we just left, we packed our suit cases so they're ready for the next day so back to when we went out again we were heading out to a restaurant but while we were walking through a small park, some people were lighting off their firecrackers and giving some of the people about of a fright. The restaurant we went to was a pizza restaurant but we were not having pizza there because it has not been a week since we had pizza but Emma and I had steak while Dad and I think Mum had Lasagna. As Dad and I watched the fireworks, Mum was supposed to watch as well but Emma was so sick so Mum had to go back to the hotel with her but the fireworks took about 20 to 25 minutes, I did take some videos but I can't show them because they're quite long but I did get to bed so late I was tired in the next morning.

The next day which is Yesterday, we completely packed our suit cases and after breakfast we got to the train station and collected our chosen car and drove off to our French Grand Parents house. We did have some stops and got through some gates that required collecting tickets and payment for passing. The whole drive to 5 and a half hours and one of the reasons is because of a traffic jam. So then we arrived but we did have to wait until someone of the French family can open the remote controlled gate and Marianne who's the Mother of Emma's French family let us through and Angele was so excited to see us. So as I went for a swim with her, we both before their cousin Tom came were playing tag in the pool even around it. After finishing as minutes before finishing Tom joined in, we were walking around talking even I showed Marianne this blog then we had dinner and also Yesterday was Angeles 9th birthday and we all went to bed.

For today French Grandpa Daniel, Angele and Tom went out and it was just my family, Lue and Marianne with her new partner, as Mum, Dad, Marianne and her partner went out shopping I went for a swim. Emma was sitting next to the pool and acting like a swimming teacher although she was since earlier this year before term 2. I've been swimming in the pool for a bit of a while until after trying to dive into the pool, I got out although I didn't dive in but jumped in because as the sun up and shining, the diving platform was so hot, it was burning my feet. After having lunch I took a break of playing on my tablet and doing some drawing even working on this blog post. After doing those, I went for a swim again as Dad went in the pool first and I followed but Emma did say she was going for a swim but she took a while as she was a bit carried away. After swimming for a while even doing some practice dives, Angele arrived with her Grandparents and she got into the pool as well and we had fun. Then another French named Chloe who is the exact same age as me, came and got into the pool as well. Then we had dinner and after having a relaxing, Anton arrived and now this is where I end up plus I've caught up with the time.

So, I'll do some more blog posts on the holiday but for now and tomorrow I might leave the production of the next blog post in 2 days time when I'm in Croatia and until next time, good bye.

Friday 14 July 2017

Living in a new city of France we've never had to before.

Greetings people, I'm back with another blog post but this time if you think that I'm still in Paris, well you're wrong because now we are in Lyon near the centre of France. I think you're wondering why I took quite a long time to make this blog, well that's because sometimes I forget to do so but we won't talk anymore about that and back to the main thing.

So I think we'll start on what happened after the first half a day in Paris. Well what happened is we took a metro station to another train station at ground level and boarded a train which took about an hour to get to our destination. Where we were heading to was the Palace of Verssaille that was built about a century or more ago. We mostly explored the Palace gardens which took hours. We got to a huge pool not for swimming but for rowing boats on.  Mum and Dad went separately from me and Emma for more than an hour.
The other bits of the day we tried to get back to the Palace but when Dad had the map, he took us the wrong way because we took a left turn too early but when I had the map, I found the error, the places where the big and small pool s were, I then got us back to the Palace and we then went home for the day.

Both days three and four we were on the tour bus going around Paris both busses going the same directing through the Louvre, even past the Eifle Tower but The fourth day we didn't take the full tour but we Go through the same direction as the first tour. We did go through the Louvre even when we were on our way back and the next day we went to the train station and went for Lyon and our holiday continued.

After the day of arriving in Lyon, we went for a walk through the city, as the whole family has never been in this city before, we needed to walk and look around so we can be familiar with this city but there's not much to talk about this day because it was mostly exploring the city. But on the next day, we took a tour bus around the city in the morning but during the tour, I on one part got whacked on the back of my neck by a tree branch because I was at the top of the bus at the back end.
The second time we tried to catch the bus, we missed it and Dad got very angry and when minutes went by, Emma and I were having the same feeling and when we caught the same bus, I was then in a melt down but I got through it. We walked through an ancient colony built by Roman slaves during the time of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago and walked around the church at the top of the hill and our day came to an end when Dad and I were eating what was my favourite food. And that is Pizza and we returned to the hotel and retired for the night.
